2 Hit With Champagne Bottle, Plates Thrown In 2 Incidents At Flaming Grill In Brick
A fight Saturday erupted over someone honking their horn, police said. A second incident Monday ended in arrest for a man throwing plates.

BRICK, NJ — Two Brick Township men are facing charges following a pair of unrelated incidents at The Flaming Grill on Hooper Avenue, Brick police said Tuesday.
On Saturday, Dean John Hughes, 57, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon following a fight at the restaurant, Police Officer Victoria Finelli said.
Hughes hit two people with a champagne bottle after a fight that started about 5:15 p.m. in the parking lot and spilled over into the restaurant, Finelli said.

One person was taken to the hospital and a second was treated at the scene but declined further treatment, she said.

On Monday about 4:20 p.m., police were called to The Flaming Grill because someone was throwing plates in the restaurant, Finelli said.
Jonathan Boyington, 29, of Brick, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and criminal mischief in that incident, she said.
