All Smiles at the 12th annual Avery’s Carnival
Community fundraiser a huge success thanks to all that came out to support it.

(Brick, NJ) On the last Saturday of September, the big attraction in Brick Township was the 12th annual Avery's Carnival at the Brick Police Athletic League. For a few hours, the Dance to Inspire Foundation in memory of Avery J. entertained the community with carnival rides, fun-filled games, teen performers from the New Jersey Circus, an adorable petting zoo, carnival food, great music from the DJ and lots of festive fall activities for both children and adults. Children enjoyed themselves with their faces painted, decorated pumpkins, and ran from one ride to the next with cheerful smiles and laughter all in memory of Avery Judith.
The Fall kickoff with Avery’s Carnival is an annual, local Brick Township fundraiser for the Dance to Inspire Foundation to raise money for local families fighting cancer. “We work hard to keep the carnival fresh and interesting each year.” Michele Hulsart, the executive director of DTIF. Over the years, the carnival has grown to be a local favorite in Brick Township and surrounding communities. Every year, DTIF receives generous donations from local businesses and organizations, which makes the carnival possible to grow into the fundraiser it is today.
Avery’s Carnival is only possible by the work of its volunteers who support the foundation every year. Many of the families who volunteer have been volunteering since the first carnival in 2007. DTIF’s volunteers are what makes Avery’s Carnival possible. They donate their time, talents and bring their families to support the day. The foundation is grateful for their loyal support.

Since the first carnival, a special tradition closes out the day with a tribute to Avery Judith, the 4 year old who loved her Saturday morning dance class and lost her battle to pediatric medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. DTIF remembers Avery and all the children and adults that the carnival has supported with a beautiful rainbow bubble tribute.
The Dance to Inspire Foundation in memory of Avery J. thanks the Brick PAL, Brick Township Police Department, Mayor Ducey and the entire Brick Township and surrounding communities for coming out to support the event. 'Inspired to Make a Difference.' https://www.dancetoinspirefoundation.c...
