Cybertruck Hits Toll Booth On Parkway In Ocean County

BRICK-LAKEWOOD, NJ — The driver of a Tesla Cybertruck lost control and hit a concrete divider at a toll plaza as the driver got off the Garden State Parkway on Wednesday, New Jersey State Police said Thursday.

The crash was reported at 5:52 p.m. at the Lakewood Toll Plaza at Exit 89, on the southbound side of the Parkway, Trooper Christopher Postorino said.

The driver lost control and hit the center concrete divider, Postorino said.

A photo published by The Lakewood Scoop showed the Cybertruck sitting diagonally in the toll booth, with its back end appearing to partially block the doorway of the toll booth collector's space.

Postorino said there were no injuries reported at the scene and the crash remains under investigation.
