Applications will not be accepted before Sept. 10.

Applications can be submitted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 10 from Brick Township residents only and proof of residency will be required.

Starting Sept. 11, applications will be accepted in person or by mail. Mailed applications will not be accepted before Sept. 11.

All applications will be date- and time-stamped and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application fee is $35, payable by cash, check made payable to the Township of Brick, or by credit card. American Express is not accepted.

A total of 200 permits will be issued. Permits are effective from Oct. 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027.

To help reduce wait times, vehicle inspections will be scheduled in 30-minute time slots. Applicants should indicate their preferred inspection time when submitting their application.

All required documents and equipment must be presented at the time of inspection. Please note that photocopying services will not be available on-site.

Permits will be mailed or made available for pickup during the week following the scheduled inspection, based on the applicant's preference.

For more information, contact the clerk's office at 732-262-1001.
