BRICK, NJ — Brick Township is hosting its fourth annual Longest Table community gathering on Saturday.
The event is an opportunity for residents to sit, share a meal and meet other members of the community, and take part in conversations about the community and its future, Mayor Lisa Crate said.
The event is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bob Anstett Cultural Arts Center, 515 Herbertsville Road.
The event aims to build community and celebrate "the connections that make Brick such a special place to live," officials said. "Residents from all walks of life are invited to gather around one table, get to know one another and build stronger relationships through conversation."
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean University Medical Center is the presenting sponsor, and Bright View Senior Living, Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare and Crest Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare are also sponsors.
