Armed Burglary Attempt Under Investigation In Brick

Brick police are asking residents in the area to check their security camera footage for anything suspicious during the time of the attempt.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are seeking surveillance video from residents after an attempted armed burglary in the Cherry Quay section early Friday morning.

Police did not give details of the incident but said they are looking for surveillance footage between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Friday. Anyone in the area who has any suspicious activity on their cameras during that time is asked to contact the police department.

"Please remember to lock your doors to your residence and vehicles," police said. "Remove key fobs from your vehicle. If you see anything suspicious call the police."
