Armed Robber Makes Off With Cash From Brick Gas Station: Police

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night at a gas station on Burnt Tavern Road, police said Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sgt. Jim Kelly said. A man brandished a weapon and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.

Additional details were not available because of the ongoing investigation, he said.
