Authorities Investigating After Man Dies at Concert In Lakewood

According to police, a 26-year-old Lakewood man died from a head injury after he was involved in a “minor” altercation at a concert at Lake Terrace Hall early Saturday, Lakewood police have confirmed.
Sandro Andrade Pacheco was in a “brief altercation” during the Latin-themed concert, which was attended by several hundred people, according to police. A short time later, police say they found Pacheco on the ground in a “remote section” of the parking lot with serious a serious head injury.

He was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he passed away Saturday evening.
The details surrounding how he sustained his injuries are not known at this time, police said.

The Lakewood Police Department, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Unit are conducting an investigation.
