Power, Traffic Signals Restored At Routes 70, 88: Brick Police
A fire on a utility pole is to blame, the sheriff's office said; about 900 homes and businesses were without power, according to JCP&L.

BRICK, NJ — (Updated, 10:30 a.m.) A power outage that knocked out the traffic signals at the intersection of Routes 70 and 88 on Friday morning has been resolved, Brick Township police said.
Power to the signals and about 900 homes in the area was knocked out before 8 a.m. due to a fire on a utility pole, the Ocean County sheriff's office and police said.
The outage forced road closures and police officers were on scene directing traffic until power was restored about 8:45 a.m.
