Beach Access Limited In Brick After Hermine Exposes Revetment Wall
Breaking: Police department also warns those who go to the beach to be especially careful around high tide as waves reach the steel wall.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials have closed some of the access points to the township's beachfront after the effects of Hermine exposed part of the steel revetment wall.
"Effective September 6th, 2016, the access points to the ocean beaches south of Brick Beach 3 will be closed due to current existing conditions caused by the recent Tropical Storm Hermine," Brick Police Capt. Vincent Pacitti said in an announcement Wednesday.
The conditions caused beach erosion and unsafe conditions along the steel revetment wall, he said.
