Beach Report: Moderate Risk Of Rip Currents Forecast For Today In Ocean County
Beach winds will be from the south at five to 10 miles per hour, according to National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service is calling for a moderate risk of rip currents in coastal Ocean County today, with waves around three feet.
A moderate risk means wind and wave conditions support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Waves will be around three feet. The surf temperature is a chilly 69 degrees.
“Always have a flotation device with you in the water and swim only in life-guarded areas,“ the NWS says.

Expect partly sunny skies with a slight change of showers and thunderstorms and a high in the upper 70s. Beach winds will be from five to 10 miles per hour.
High tide in Barnegat Inlet will occur at 6:57 a.m. and 7:18 p.m. Low tides will occur at 1:12 a.m. and 1:07 p.m.
