Beach And Surf Report: July 13, 2015
Sunny skies, low rip current risk, National Weather Service.

Today’s the day to make it to the beach. Tomorrow won’t be.
The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies and a low risk of rip currents. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s, with light and variable winds, becoming southeast at 10 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Waves will be from two to three feet, with a surf temperature of 74 degrees.

The rip current risk is low today, but strong currents can still happen near piers and jetties, especially during low tide. Bathers are advised to swim in areas where lifeguards are present and ask them about any hazards in the surf zone, the NWS says.
Low tide at Barnegat Inlet will be at 12:19 p.m. High tide will be at 6:34 p.m.
