Sunny skies, moderate risk of rip currents forecast for Labor Day.

It’s the unofficial end of summer here on the Jersey coast. By tomorrow, much of coastal Ocean County’s beaches will look like ghost towns.

But today will be beautiful. The National Weather Service is calling for highs in the lower 80s. Beach winds will be from the west at 5 miles per hour, becoming south in the afternoon.

Waves will be from two to three feet, with east swells around two feet. The surf temperature is in the mid-70s.
