BOE Meeting to Include Presentation on Super Search

Brick's Board of Education will meet Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at .

The board will hear a presentation on for a . In the past, such presentations have been from search firms that help districts manage the hunt for a new schools chief. The board has decided that Superintendent Walter Hrycenko's contract after the current school year.

Additionally, the board will vote, on first reading, on a policy that will set up a system for managing the scenario where a student forgets or loses lunch money.

Among other items the board will consider is a candidate for the position of facilities director. The position has been open since the end of last school year, with Business Administrator Jim Edwards temporarily filling in. John Mills is the candidate for the position whose name appears on the agenda for Thursday's meeting. The board declined to award the position to a different individual whose name appeared on previous agendas.
