Photos Released Of Suspect In Brick Bank Robbery

Police said the man who robbed TD Bank appeared to be wearing a wig.

BRICK, NJ -- (Updated, 3:30 p.m.) Brick Township police released surveillance photos of a man being sought in a bank robbery Monday afternoon at the TD Bank on Hooper Avenue in the township.

The robber is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, with a beard and mustache, according to radio transmissions. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans and had a black wavy hair that appeared to be a wig, police said.

The robbery occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the bank, which is located just off Brick Boulevard where Beaverson Boulevard connects through to Hooper Avenue.

The man did not show a weapon, and left on foot with more than $500 in cash, according to the Jersey Shore Scanner News Facebook page.
