On Friday, seedlings will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mantoloking Municipal Building, 202 Downer Ave. They are 6 inches to 24 inches tall and bare-root seedlings that are grown locally at the NJ Forest Service Nursery in Jackson.
On Saturday, the Point Pleasant Environmental Commission will be hosting its Earth Day Celebration at Riverfront Park from noon to 4 p.m. The celebration is intended to bring the community together to inspire an understanding and appreciation for our environment. Seedlings will be available at the event.
