Brick Author To Appear At Manasquan Book Event

Lisa Begin-Kruyysman has released a new book, about New Jersey industrialist Harriet Fisher from the early 20th century.

A Brick Township resident and author of four books will be holding at book event next week at Booktowne in Manasquan.

Lisa Begin-Kruyysman, whose four books all have been acquired by the Ocean County Library system, will be at the bookstore on Main Street at 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, promoting her newest release, “Around the World in 1909: Harriet White Fisher and Her Locomobile,” published by American History Press. It is the true-story of the history-making global journey of New Jersey industrialist Harriet Fisher and her colorful entourage.

Begin-Kruyysman, who also has written the National Dog Week blog for the past five years, also is the author of ”Something’s Lost and Must be Found,” a dog-centric series of inspiring short stories; “A Collar and a Dream: When We Fostered Furley,” for young readers, and “Dog’s Best Friend: Will Judy, Founder of National Dog Week and Dog World Publisher.”
