Brick Baseball Team Collecting Clothing, Toys

If you have clothing you're trying to get rid of, the Brick Memorial Diamond Club would love to have it.

The group, which supports the Brick Memorial High School baseball team, is seeking donations of used clothing, shoes, children's toys and more at its collection drive on Saturday at Brick Memorial High School.

Acceptable items include clothing of all sizes, shoes, sneakers, sandals, boots, purses, wallets, briefcases, baby accessories, hats, scarves and gloves. They will accept household goods such as blankets and comforters, pillows, tablecloths, towels, pots and pans. 

Bicycles and toys -- dolls, action figures, activity sets, cars -- and hard toys that fit in a 2-foot by 2-foot box are welcome. 

Donations are tax deductible. Dropoffs can be made from 8 a.m. to noon.
