Brick Bon-Ton Closing Sale Now Underway: 5 Things To Know

BRICK, NJ — The Bon-Ton liquidation sale is underway in Brick.

The company announced last week that liquidators will acquire the inventory and certain other assets of the company, which has more than 50 stores, including the Brick location.

"The company is committed to working constructively with the winning bidder to ensure an orderly wind-down of operations that minimizes the impact on associates, customers, vendors and the communities we serve," Bon-Ton said in a statement.

Here are five things to know about the local closing sale:

1. Items are now listed at "total liquidation prices" at the local store, according to the company. Prices vary by location and department.

2. Sales are expected to last between 10 to 12 weeks. Some stores will stay open longer or shorter than that timeframe, depending on sales and inventory levels, Pennlive.com reported.

3. All store loyalty programs have been discontinued, Bon-Ton announced.

4. During store closing sales, only cash and nationally recognized credit cards will be accepted.

5. The store says it will accept returns in-store and online under normal policies through April 30. After that, all sales will be final and merchandise sold prior and during the store closing period will be considered final sale.
