Brick Cancels Its National Night Out Event

The National Night Out festivities that had been scheduled for Windward Beach Park on Tuesday evening have been canceled due to the threat of severe weather.

Brick Township police announced the cancellation at 2:30 p.m. via a news release.

However, the Police Camp graduation that was scheduled to take place at Windward Beach will be held at the Brick Township Civic Plaza on Chambersbridge Road, according to Detective Sgt. Henry Drew.

That ceremony begins at 7 p.m., he said.
