Brick Cancels Movie Night, Farmers Market Due To Weather Threats
Thunderstorms and heavy rain, along with a flash flood watch, have prompted town officials to cancel the outdoor events.
BRICK, NJ — With a severe thunderstorm warning in effect and heavy rain predicted through Saturday evening, Brick Township officials canceled two outdoor events that were scheduled for the weekend.
The Drive-In Movie, featuring Tom & Jerry, that was scheduled for Friday night was canceled, officials said.
Brick officials also canceled Saturday's Farmers Market "out of an abundance of caution," officials said.
