Brick Council 2023 Reorganization Meeting Set

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Council has scheduled its 2023 reorganization meeting for 7 p.m. on Jan. 3.

There were no council seats up for election in 2022, so there are no swearing-in ceremonies scheduled. The council will choose a president and vice president for 2023, and make tentative budget appropriations and announce its meeting schedule for the year.

The council also will formally appoint various professionals and firms for the year.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the township municipal building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road. The agenda will be published on the township website before the meeting, the township said.

In addition to the Jan. 3 meeting, the township council announced in a public notice that it will meet Jan. 24 at 7 p.m., also at the municipal building, for its regular business meeting.
