BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Farmers Market is returning to Windward Beach Park on Saturday, and authorities are reminding patrons that social distancing restrictions will be in place.

The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park on Princeton Avenue.

Because of the restrictions under the coronavirus crisis and the requirements under Gov. Phil Murphy's executive orders, facial coverings or masks will be required for everyone who attends. There will be many vendors available and the weather should be nice.

Parking will be permitted in the lower parking lot and access to the event has changed from last year. The number of people allowed on the field at the same time will be limited, and may be adjusted as the event progresses.

"The success of this event will not only depend on our staff, but on you, our guests, as well," Brick Township police said in a post on the department's Facebook said. "We ask that you have patience with our staff members as we all become familiar with the new changes that will likely be with us for a while."
