Brick GOP Club Endorses Guadagno For Governor
The club voted unanimously on the endorsement, according to a news release.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Republican Club has announced it is endorsing Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno in the 2017 gubernatorial election in New Jersey.
Guadagno, who has served as the state's first lieutenant governor since she was elected to office with Gov. Chris Christie in 2009, announced her intention to seek the governor's office last month.
Though she has been Christie's lieutenant during his entire term, Guadagno, 57, has visibly distanced herself from Christie over the last couple of years, at times issuing biting commentary during public appearances while Christie was campaigning for the presidency.

The Brick Republican Club said it voted unanimously on the endorsement "because she will set the right priorities in Trenton and make New Jersey better by lowering taxes."
"The Brick Republican Club is one of the strongest local GOP organizations in the state, and we are proud to endorse Kim Guadagno for governor," said John Catalano, the club's president. "Kim has been to Brick countless times to support our candidates over the years, and we know she will provide the leadership we need so the Republican Party can win at all levels based on sound principles of lower taxes and smaller, smarter government."
