Brick Group Teaming With School In Neighborhood Cleanup

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Republican Community Service Coalition is teaming up with the Midstreams Elementary School faculty and organizations associated with the school for a neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.

The cleanup, which will include members of the PTA and the Fathers Club, will focus primarily on the woods behind the school. Immediately after the cleanup the volunteers are going to put mulch around the school.

The coalition says it welcomes anyone to join in the effort this weekend.

"If you are interested in rolling up your sleeves and being part of this great project, or there is another area in town that needs a little tender loving care that the BRCSC should address in the future, please contact Charlie Bacon at 908-910-3564," the group said.

The BRCSC’s mission is to focus on “Acts of Kindness” throughout Brick and is a component of the Brick Republican Club, the group said.
