Brick High School Honoring 2019 Wall Of Fame Class
A dinner to induct the new class of four people will be held in June. You can buy tickets now.

BRICK, NJ — Four new names will be added to the Brick Township High School Wall of Fame at its 16th annual induction ceremony in June.
Glenda Calabro, Kevin Campbell, Fred Testa, and John Teza will be the honorees at the induction ceremony and banquet scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at the Ramada Inn in Toms River.
The four honorees all are graduates of Brick Township High School.

Glenda Calabro, a 1975 graduate, lettered in four sports two of her four years of high school: cross country, indoor track, outdoor track and girls bowling. She graduated from Murray State in Kentucky where she excelled as a distance runner. She taught physical education at Jackson Memorial High School until she retired in 2015, and coached girls bowling for 15 years and girls cross country for 21 years, and has continued to do so in retirement. Glenda serves on the executive board of the Shore Conference Track Coaches Association and is the director of the Shore Conference Championships in both bowling and cross country. An avid runner for years, knee injuries have sidelined her but she continues to coach.
Kevin Campbell, the assistant principal at Lake Riviera Middle School, graduated from Brick in the early 1970s and was the center on the 1971 football team that was ranked No. 1 in the Shore Conference. He has worked in the school district for 30 years,m including 15 as an administrator, and 20 years as a coach in football, baseball and track. Kevin also was a yough sports coach alongside his father, Coach Jim Campbell, and brother Glenn with Brick American Little League and received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Brick PAL for his dedication to the youth of Brick.

Fred Testa, a 1974 graduate of Brick Township High School, retired as supervisor of the grounds in the Brick Township School District in 2011, where he started his career as a custodian four decades earlier. He additionally volunteered with the Brick Hockey Club for years, running the scoreboard and as a team manager. As supervisor of grounds he frequently received praise for the professional condition of the fields. He also had roles assisting in the opening of Brick Memorial High School, the Primary Learning Center and the Early Education Center. He had certifications in turf pest management from Purdue University and pest management from Rider University.
John Teza, a 1992 graduate, was a lineman and earned all-county and All-Shore honors in football while also excelling academically, finishing in the top 10 percent of his class. He graduated from William & Mary in 1997, playing our years of football with Brick alum and quarterback Todd Durkin while completing his business degree. He went on to become CEO of Quiznos, which grew rapidly, then became chief development officer with Jersey Mike's. He currently is a principal with NRD Capital Management, focused on consumer and operations technology investing. He also is the founder and president of Janus Brands, a consulting firm founded in 2009 that focuses on the restaurant and franchise industries.
