Brick Man Charged In Long Branch Shooting: Prosecutor
He was arrested after a 10-day manhunt and is charged with attempted murder, the prosecutor's office said.

FREEHOLD, NJ — A Brick Township man has been arrested and charged in the shooting of a man earlier this month in Long Branch, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said Thursday.
Donovan L. Wesley, 25, of Brick, was arrested Wednesday in Asbury Park, said Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.
Wesley was arrested by officers from the U.S. Marshals Service and Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office after a 10-day manhunt, Webster said.

He has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and second-degree armed burglary in connection with the early morning shooting on Oct. 8 shooting of a 30-year-old man inside a West Columbus Place residence in the city, Webster said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, he said.

Wesley also was charged with first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose as a result of the investigation by the prosecutor's office and the Long Branch Police Department, Webster said.
