Brick Man Dies In Route 33 Motorcycle Crash
The crash shut down Route 33 in Neptune for several hours Monday.

NEPTUNE, NJ — A Brick Township man has been identified as the man killed Monday morning in a motorcycle crash on Route 33 in Neptune.
Martin Alvarez, 29, of Brick, was pronounced dead at 9:03 a.m. at the scene of the crash on Route 33 near the Red Roof Inn, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said.
Alvarez was riding a Kawasaki ZX-6 motorcycle westbound on Route 33 at about 8:50 a.m. when he hit a construction vehicle that was pulling out onto Route 33 eastbound, Gramiccioni said.

The construction truck was being driven by Flores Pajrol, 32, of Toms River, who was not injured in the crash, the prosecutor said.
The crash closed Route 33 between Green Grove Road and West Bangs Avenue for serveral hours for the investigation, which is continuing. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and Neptune Township Police Department and the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART) are investigating.
