Brick Man Had 1,000 Child Porn Images In His Home: Police

An investigation uncovered 21 electronic devices that contained photos and videos of child pornography, police said.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man has been charged after more than 1,000 photos and videos showing child pornography were found on his electronics, Brick Township police announced Wednesday.

Brett Gerundo, 45, has been charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of children, Police Chief David Forrester said.

Brick detectives investigating a tip that Gerundo had child pornography at his home executed a search warrant along with the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High-Tech Crimes unit and seized 21 electronic devices from Gerundo's home, police said.

A forensic examination of the electronic devices by the High-Tech Crimes Unit turned up the photos and videos, police said.

Gerundo surrendered himself at Brick Township Police Headquarters on Nov. 3, and he was processed and taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, police said.
