Brick Man Had Nearly 2 Pounds of Marijuana, Wall Police Say
The man has been charged with possession with intent to distribute, police said.

A Brick Township man is facing drug charges after he was arrested in Wall Township with nearly 2 pounds of marijuana in his possession, police say.
Trupal B. Patel, 27, of Truman Drive in Brick, was arrested Thursday on charges that he had 938 grams -- about 33 ounces -- of marijuana in his possession, Wall Township police said in an arrest warrant filed with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
He additionally was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The nature of the warrant and the town it was from were not immediately available.

Patel had the pot in resealable baggies of varying sizes, police said.
He was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and has posted bail of $12,000, no 10 percent, set by Wall Municipal Court Judge Joseph Defino.
