Brick Man Missing In New Hampshire; Family Pleads For Information

Gregory Auriemma was last seen June 24 preparing to go hiking in the White Mountain Forest, reports said.

CONWAY, NH — Authorities and family members are searching for clues to the whereabouts of a Brick Township man who has gone missing after leaving for a hike in the mountains in New Hampshire.

Alexander Gregory Auriemma, 63, was last seen June 24 as he prepared to leave for a hike in the White Mountain Forest, according to an NH1.com report.

Auriemma was last seen at the White Mountain Hostel in Conway, where he had been a guest, and was due back in Conway on July 5, according to WCSH6.com.

He is an attorney with a private practice in Brick and the chair and treasurer of the Ocean County group of the Sierra Club of New Jersey. The group has a meet-up event scheduled for Saturday at Windward Beach Park, according to its Meetup page.

In a public post on Facebook, Auriemma's sister-in-law Cathy posted a plea for information.

"If anyone has spoken to Greg in the last month or so, please let us know as Greg has been missing since approximately July 5th and we are trying to gather any information we can to help find him," Cathy Auriemma wrote. "If anyone has spoken to Greg please reach out to us. And please feel free to share this post. Thank you."


Greg Auriemma is described as a white man with gray hair and green eyes, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, police told media outlets.
