Brick Man Nabbed In Heroin Bust; 1,820 Bags Seized
John Gonzalez of Kentwood Blvd Brick was arrested on heroin charges.

A 31-year-old Brick man was arrested Tuesday on drug charges after 1,820 bags of heroin were seized, police said.
John Gonzalez of Kentwood Boulevard in Brick and Kellyann Lombrek, 29, of Manchester were arrested. Gonzalez was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin in a quantity of less than half-an-ounce with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Tuesday, the Brick Township Police Departments Drug Enforcement Unit and the Toms River Police Departments Selective Enforcement Team wrapped up a 2 month joint investigation that culminated in the arrest of Gonzalez and Lombrek.

According to police:
Detectives Brian Lash, Jason Shepherd, with the assistance of the Brick Township Police Departments Special Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on the 300 block of Kentwood Boulevard on Tuesday.

The search resulted in the seizure of a total of 1,820 bags of heroin. The heroin seized has an estimated street value of $18,000. During the search the detectives also recovered drug paraphernalia
