Brick Man Sleeping In Wawa Parking Lot Charged With DWI: Police
The man also was charged with having an open container of alcohol. police said.

LACEY, NJ -- A Brick Township man who was found sleeping in his car in a Wawa parking lot has been charged with driving under the influence, Lacey Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Paul V. Hikade, 53, of Brick Township was arrested Aug. 19 at the Wawa on Route 9 south at Taylor Lane, DiBella said. Officers Michael Baldasari and Scott Keefe were called to the store about 7:30 p.m. and found Hikade asleep behind the wheel of his car.
He was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving and driving with an open container of alcohol, DiBella said.

His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law, the chief said.
