Brick Man's Body Found Floating In Massachusetts River: Authorities

AMESBURY, MA – A Brick Township man has been identified as the person whose body was found floating near a dock in the Merrimack River in Massachusetts, authorities said.

The body of Daniel Jose Abad-Pareja, 35, of Brick, was spotted Wednesday afternoon, the Essex District Attorney's office told the Hamilton, MA, Patch.

Authorities are awaiting an autopsy to determine the official cause of death, the district attorney's office said.

Abad-Pareja was found when a resident called police about 1 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities said.

The incident is under investigation.
