Brick Marine Corps Enlistee Graduates From Parris Island

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man who enlisted in the United States Marine Corps has graduated from Parris Island.

Allen Edgerton, 19, who's a 2017 graduate of Brick Township High School, graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps training in Parris Island, South Carolina, on Aug. 24.

He was a raised in Brick and was a lifeguard for private beaches in Mantoloking during his sophomore and junior years of high school, his mother, Tiffany Conti, said.

"He truly amazes me," Tiffany Conti said. "He is our hero."
