BRICK, NJ – For the first time since Superstorm Sandy hit in 2012, Brick Township will offer permits for driving motor vehicles on the township's beaches during the offseason.
The permits will allow beach access to vehicles from Oct. 1 through April 30.
"After nearly seven years, we are pleased to finally reopen our beaches to vehicles in the offseason and allow people to once again enjoy activities such as surf fishing," Mayor John G. Ducey said. "We thank everyone for their patience and understanding throughout the recovery and replenishment of our beaches."
