Brick Pair Charged In Burglaries At Concrete Company: Police

The two were arrested after social media tipsters identified them, police said.

BRICK, NJ -- Two Brick Township residents have been arrested in connection with a pair of burglaries after they were recognized in photos posted on social media, Brick police said Monday.

James LaSasso and Niko Silletti, both of Brick and both 21, have been charged in burglaries that happened at Silvi Concrete on Sally Ike Road in Brick, according to a post on the Brick Township Police Department's Facebook page.

The arrests were made Wednesday, April 13, according to the post. The pair were charged in burglaries that happened Jan. 29 and April 9, police said.

"This arrest is the product of an anonymous tip from a concerned citizen who had seen the pictures that were posted. Both subjects turned themselves in and the stolen items were recovered," police said.
