Brick PBA Set To Lend Helping Hands To Family In Need
The annual benefit — this year in softball — is set to help the Brown family, where Eric, 24, and Zachary, 12, have a rare illness.
BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Police Benevolent Association is gearing up for its 32nd annual Helping Hands Benefit, a fundraising game that aims to help with financial burdens caused by a child's serious illness.
The fundraiser is set for 7 p.m. June 10 at the Drum Point Sport Complex and will feature an exhibition softball game between Brick Township Police and the Brick Township High School football team.
This year the proceeds will support the Brown family. Eric Brown is 24, and Zachary Brown is 12, and both have a rare neurodegenerative genetic disorder called leukodystrophy.
