Brick Pedestrian Hit By Car, Injured: Report

Brick police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them.

BRICK, NJ -- A Brick Township man was hospitalized after he was hit by a car on Mantoloking Road during the heavy rain Friday night, according to a report.

The Asbury Park Press reported the man, Noe Aparicio, 27, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with what the report said were head and internal injuries.

He was hit on Mantoloking Road by a Honda Fit driven by Benny Tjahjadi, 34, of Brick, about 8 p.m. as Aparicio crossed the street near Laurel Avenue, according to the Press report. Tjahjadi stopped immediately and called 9-1-1, police told the Press.
