Brick Police Issue Curfew Reminder For Halloween

If you're thinking about getting into mischief, better think again; police will have extra patrols.

BRICK, NJ — With Halloween upon us, Brick Township police have issued a reminder about the township's curfew for the holiday.

A Brick Township ordinance, No. 150-2, prohibits juveniles from being on any public street or in any public place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 1, police said in the reminder. The only exceptions are those accompanied by a parent or guardian or those going home from a job or school event.

During this curfew period the Brick Township Police Department will have extra officers assigned to patrol the township, police said in a notice on Facebook.
