Brick Police raided the home of a township resident Feb. 4, resulting in the recovery of a quantity of ecstasy pills and marijuana, as well as the arrest of one man.
The police department's Special Emergency Response Team and Drug Enforcement Unit raided the home of Anthony Camarco, 24, on Feb. 4. The home, located at 849 Bay Oak Drive, was the subject of a search warrant signed by Brick Municipal Court Judge Robert M. LePore following a month-long investigation, according to Capt. John Rein.
The 9:20 p.m. raid yielded a total of seven individually packaged bags containing 57 suspected ecstasy pills, as well as a bag filled with blue packaging baggies identical to the ones which contained the pills, police said. Rein said the same style blue baggies were used by Camarco to package 12 bags of marijuana, which police purchased from Camarco during the course of the investigation.
