Brick Police: Residents Obeying Travel Ban Made Overnight Easier
Township officers responded to 19 calls between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Brick Township police are urging residents to continue to exercise caution on the town’s roads, even though the statewide travel ban has been lifted.
Sgt. Henry Drew said the department responded to 19 calls between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., which were “made significantly easier due to our residents obeying the travel ban and staying off the roadways.”

- 3 Suspicious Person Calls
- 1 Motor Vehicle Accident
- 1 Assault
“We will update our Facebook and Twitter feeds as new information comes in. If you do have to travel today, please give yourself plenty of extra time, and expect delays,” Drew said.
