UPDATE: Baseball Bat-Wielding Vandal In Brick Identified

UPDATE: Brick Township police announced Monday evening that the person seen in surveillance video has been identified.

“Thank you for the information today reference the vandalism suspect. He has been identified and due to the fact of him being a juvenile no further information will be released at this time,” the department announced on its Facebook page.

PREVIOUSLY:

Brick Township police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a young man they say vandalized a home in the Lake Riviera section over the weekend.

The subject, described as a white male about 18 years old, was seen on surveillance video damaging the home with a baseball bat in the early hours of Saturday morning, Brick Sgt. Neal Pederson said.

The vandalism occurred shortly before 2 a.m. and was captured on video, Pederson said.
