Brick Police Seek Tips On Identity Of Man Who Used Stolen Credit Card

The man tried to use the card at two stores after a wallet was stolen from a car at the Drum Point Sports Complex.

Brick Township police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with the burglary of a car on Sept. 19 at the Drum Point Sports Complex, police said.

Brick Sgt. Larry Petrola said the suspect entered the unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet containing several charge cards from inside the vehicle. One charge card was used at the 7-Eleven at Drum Point Plaza on the same day at 9:15 p.m., Petrola said. Another charge card purchase was also attempted at the CVS at the corner of Drum Point Road and Hooper Avenue at 9:25 p.m.
