Brick Police Seeking Tips In Pizza Deliveryman's Stabbing

The wounded man was treated at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and released, police said.

BRICK, NJ -- Brick Township police are seeking leads to the identities of three teenaged black males accused in the stabbing a pizza deliveryman Saturday night in the Herbertsville section of the township.

Brick Sgt. Neal Pedersen on Tuesday said the three males -- all mid- to late teens -- approached the 21-year-old male victim as he returned to his vehicle after delivering a pizza shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on Creek Road. Creek Road is one of the streets within the Maple Leaf Park apartment complexes.

Initial reports said four men were involved in the robbery, but Pedersen on Wednesday said there were just three.
