Brick Postpones July 11 SummerFest Due To Weather Threat
The threat of thunderstorms is expected to increase as the evening goes on, the National Weather Service forecast said.

BRICK, NJ — A weather forecast predicting thunderstorms has led Brick Township officials to postpone Thursday's SummerFest concert and fireworks.
"Due to expected inclement weather and possible thunderstorms during this evening, the Brick Township SummerFest concert scheduled for Thursday, July 11 featuring Brian Kirk & The Jirks has been cancelled," township officials said.
The National Weather Service's Mount Holly office has said showers and thunderstorms are possible before 9 p.m. and become more likely as the evening goes on. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain, the forecast said.
