Brick Preps For Storm, Reminds Residents To Keep Roads Clear
If the prediction of 3 to 6 inches of snow holds true, the plows will be out around the township Saturday, officials said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials say they are preparing for the possibility of the township receiving 3 to 6 inches of snow on Saturday and are reminding residents of the need to prepare as well.
With a winter storm watch in effect from late Friday evening through late Saturday night, officials said, residents are reminded to keep their vehicles parked off the streets so plows can properly clear the roads.
The snow is expected to fall between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, officials said.

In advance of the snow and the freeze, township trucks will be treating township roads with brine.
"Trucks will be dispatched midafternoon in order to treat all roadways within the township by this evening," officials said. The township's Office of Emergency Management will be monitoring the storm through the National Weather Service.
