Monmouth Prosecutor: Brick Realtor Used Prostitute To Have Sex With Teen
He is accused of using a prostitute to try to arrange to have sex with the teen

A Brick Township man has been indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on a charge of second-degree attemped sexual assault, accused of trying to set up a meeting to have sex with a 14-year-old, according to the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office.
Richard A. Jones, 66, of Brick, was indicted Friday, according to court documents.
An NJ.com article from September reported Jones, who is the owner and real estate broker of Century 21 Herbertsville Real Estate Company, Inc., on Herbertsville Road in Brick, attempted to use a local prostitute to facilitate a meeting to have sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.

Jones was met by police when he arrived at the pre-arranged location where he expected to meet the 14-year-old girl, who was really an undercover police officer, authorities said.
The website for Jones’ Century 21 services says he works primarily in Monmouth County.
