Brick Reopens Community Garden To Residents

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township has reconstructed the Michael P. Fowler Community Garden and there are plots available to residents for gardening.

There are 17 garden plots available to rent for this planting season for a $20 reservation fee. Two beds are elevated for Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility.

The community garden is at 515 Herbertsville Road at the Havens Homestead Park Facility. Water is available in the garden.

In addition, a pollinator garden will be built near the Community Garden, the town said. It will be funded, in part, by a grant from the New Jersey Association of Environmental Commissions Grant and local Eagle Scout candidates. The Pollinator Garden is anticipated to be constructed in the fall.
