Brick Resident Suffers Minor Injury In House Fire

BRICK – A Brick resident suffered minor injuries Thursday afternoon in a house fire on Dennis Drive.

Police said firefighters from Brick Township Fire Stations 21, 22 and 23 battled the blaze, which caused substantial damage to the home. Brick Township Police also responded to the fire.

One resident suffered a minor injury to the hand and was treated at the scene by EMTs.

According to police, the fire was started by a cigarette under the deck which then spread to the rest of the house.
